MOGGARO boats are built following the strictest controls of quality during
the construction. From the computer-aided-design to computer-aided-
manufacturing, the welding of all the pieces following an assembly process that
guarantees the correct disposition of the pieces that conform the
structure, all the processes are identified and defined perfectly.
The CAD software allows the exact definition of the pieces. The pieces are cut
out by numerical control water-cutting or laser-cutting machines, ensuring the
highest accuracy in the final geometry.
Aluminium alloy 5083 is used for the entire hull. As a hull material, aluminium will
last indefinitely with just a little care. Low maintenance is a major benefit of aluminium
hulls. Marine alloys in the 5000 series and structural alloys in the 6000 series are
almost impervious to atmospheric and seawater corrosion. A clear, ceramic-like oxide
that forms almost immediately on the metalīs surface serves as a tough surface
protectant. Since the aluminium oxide protects the surface from further corrosion,
painting isnīt necessary. Aluminum hulls are generally painted for reasons other than
